Rhythm Arts Alliance is part of the Arts for Incarcerated Youth Network in partnership with several other Los Angeles based non-profits that work in juvenile probation camps to provide arts education to our youth.
Our network is collaborating with Community Coalition for this years Power Fest 2016 and photographs of our work in the camps will be featured!
Power Fest is the premier political music festival in South LA that attracts thousands of families in a day of celebration, empowerment, and education. Power Fest takes place in Martin Luther King Jr. Park in the historic King Estates neighborhood of South Los Angeles.
This year's Power Fest will promote the importance of voting in this November election, and educate the community on key state and local ballot initiatives. The festival will also serve as a space for community healing to take place in response to the recent murders of black lives by law enforcement.
Come enjoy a great music, art installations, good food, health resources, and special activities for kids! Your not going to want to miss out.
