Behind the Mic: SP & RAA Celebration of Elders, Honoring Fred "Sangowale" Jones

On Saturday, July 9th 6-8pm, Street Poets & Rhythm Arts Alliance will be hosting a special open-mic celebration of elders at Inner-City Arts downtown as part of their "Behind the Mic" series. We will be honoring our elder Fred "Sangowale" Jones, giving out free copies of Street Poets' new CD project, and celebrating the roots that feed our community and work. All are welcome on the mic and off!
